Detroit Fashion Week Opening Night

It’s that time of year again, Detroit Fashion Week is officially underway. I was Fashionably tardy to the opening night at the Black Finn Restaurant & Saloon ..but I still managed to catch a bit of the crowd.

I got a chance to sit down with Brian Heath [2nd from the left] who is the head visionary of Detroit Fashion Week and talk about the week’s upcoming events , as well as the sponsors for this year ..seems things are progressing quite nicely. He talked about how he’s stepping everything up tremendously this year, which means that the designers as well as their models will have to be on their A-Game.
Sad but true, this is one of the few and proud events that give Michigan Based designers a chance to showcase their lines with such magnitude ..so many props to Brian Heath for bringing this whole thing together, and supplying the community with a quality event list year after year.
