Fashionable X Trendy: "..just get a G-Shock"

I know at least a few people were wondering what was in the box..

It was my Kisai Denshoku Watch..

There are 12 bars that light up in 3 different instances..Once for the hours, and twice for the minutes. Yeah, I know it sounds weird, it’s a bit hard to explain..perhaps I’ll just put it in the next video.

I had a couple of people ask me, “.. why didn’t I just get a G-Shock?”

Well, the answer to that is simple. I think there’s a huge difference between being fashionable, and being trendy.

Being Trendy consists of:

• Having the newest, coolest, most well known/expensive gear
• Wearing cool brands because they’re considered cool brands
• Rockin’ shit just like everybody else..

On the contrary, being Fashionable is more so:

• Wearing the brands that you like, popular or not..
• Combining elements from various styles
• Finding shit that people aren’t really doing yet, and makin’ it sweet..

I’d rather hear: “Oh wow, what’s that?”

than

“Oh cool, is that a G-Shock? Check mine out too..”
