..so, I’ve been behind the camera quite a bit lately ..and this; ladies & gentleman, is the first installment of what I am going to be calling: “dreamsets“. Basically it’s my rendition of Lifestyle Photography, but instead of the focus being on recreating real-life situations in a controlled environment ..I aim more-so at painting something of a novel; cinemaesque sort of theme. The goal is to capture your emotion, translate it, and depict that moment in more of a dreamlike setting. Life; as interpreted by Lex ..I guess you could say, haha.
..for those of you who may just now be joining me on this project and witnessing it for the first time, allow me to catch you up ..this particular dreamset is a showcase of one the scarves from the Premiere Collection of my upcoming scarf line: PRETTY GOODS INTERNATIONAL which will be released later this month; stay tuned!

So this past weekend I had the pleasure of making my way out for the wonderful, the talented, the beautiful Ms. Yvonne Kai‘s Shopaholic Cocktail Party at the Fifth Social Club in Downtown Toronto.
Now I know what you’re thinking: ” Cupcakes, Tea-Martinis, Mini Manicures..Lex, that sounds like a bit of a girl’s party to me..” And my response to you would be, you’re absolutely right. We all know that clubs are generally chock-full of a bunch guys at the bar preying on the only 4 or 5 really attractive girls that are there, yeah? Well at this party the female to male ratio was about 4 to 1. Now I used to skip pre-calc in high school to go chill in the band room, but it don’t take no rocket scientist to do that math in your head. I Had a blast!
